WOLF AXLE FD-1 SAE 50 — This is a specific and proven performance SAE 50 heavy duty Final Drive & Axle Oil (FDAO) for use in modern highly loaded Caterpillar off road equipment in extreme severe service where lubricants meeting CAT FD-1 are recommended.

Applications

A Final Drive & Axle Oil (FDAO) is an oil that has been designed for use in final drives, axles, bevel gears, and differentials in which gear and bearing loads are high and submitted to extreme high temperatures. The CAT FD-1 specification is mandatory for highly loaded Caterpillar machines working under extreme conditions.

Performance

This FDAO is a high performance oil which is specifically formulated for the needs of modern heavy duty off road equipment. It exhibits improved performance over traditional SAE 30/50/60 Transmission Drive Train Oils (TDTO) which meet the CAT TO-4 specification and over API GL-5 gear oils. It has a longer drain interval (double compared to traditional TDTO oils) which offers the opportunity to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).

Packaging

This pack size — 60L — a drum for service stations and bulk needs.
